Create an application to demonstrate how to read and write to a sqlite database.

Create an example application that parses a downloaded xml file and displays the content.

Create an application and tutorial which show how to generate sounds or modify sounds.

Create a stopwatch and save the times (in like a high-scorelist).

Expecting the step by step procedure for implementing the code.. If it's in wordings or in video.. U'r tutorial is super..It's working.. But we expect more details..

Cocos2d is a great framework. Nevertheless it's kind of overwhelming if you are completely new to game programming. There are many demos and sample project, but they are all about certain tasks. None of those is a complete e.g. tile based game and none of those gives any insight about collision detection. (there are some chipmuck (physics engine) demos, but this is way too mach for a beginner). A very simple tile based platform game, which handels beginners tasks like tile-map, collision detection and sprite movement would be very helpful.

Create an application that will download a file and store it. Display a list of stored files and type (text, jpg etc) and allow the user to pick one and see it.

Iin the very first app "step by step", I followed along no problem until you said (assuming I know what to do?), "

* Start the timer in "applicationDidFinishLaunching"
* Add the method onTimer that will update the label in the view controller
* Invalidat the timer in the method "applicationWillTerminate"
* release the timer in dealloc

PLEASE, HOW DO I DO THOSE THINGS????

All the examples are great but so much has been added with ios 4 that it is hard to combine your examples with some of the new features. I would especially like to see your "MyGoogle" app updated and made to save it's place/location when backgrounded.

Display a list of topics 'chapters' on the main screen. when one of these topics is touched, a page opens with the text and images of that chapter (html, stored locally on the phone).

This framework can than be used for manuals, books, magazines, encyclopedia's etc.

additional feature would be to in-app buy (unlock) chapters.
